Bob,
Not
sure if you've been told, but
"BEAR" Lowery did an
oustanding job as Ride Captain at SSG
Burkholder's funeral on
Wednesday. The way he
reacted when they moved the service
from the funeral home in Lima to the
high school in Elida, and dealt with
what appeared to be constant
changing requirements and
requests, as well as the large
service itself, was truly inspiring.
I
have been to quite a few functions by
now, and with the exceptions of Maria
Lauterbach and Matt Maupin funerals,
this appeared to be probably the most
challenging because of a fluid
situation. You have some outstanding
Ride Captains out there, and I
understand why BEAR is one of
them. Just wanted you to know .
. .
Take care,
Jim
