I do not own a bike so I probably could not join the Patriot Guard but I just want to let you know that I appreciate all that you do for the families of our fallen heros. I know there are lunatics out there that protest at the funerals and are glad for the casualties. These people are "professed" Christians but are severely misguided to say the least that they would be glad our kids where killed. As a former Marine and the mother of a Marine and another child in the Navy. I thank you for the protection that you give to the families of our children that have fallen. What a wonderful, selfless and compassionate group of people you all are. Such a stark contrast to the people you have to shield the families from. Thank you again and hopefully you will not have to provide this honorable but sad service to any more families sooner rather than later.

Happy Holidays to you all and heartfelt thanks.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your group's participation in the funeral for my step-brother this past Saturday, Oct. 7th in Austintown, OH at Lane Funeral Home. We were grateful and felt honored to see the member's standing with the flags snapping in the wind. My step brother suffered many tragedies in his lifetime - loss of two sons and parents all at young ages and an auto accident that left him a quadriplegic.

I have a brother in Medford, Oregon who belongs to the PGR's. After seeing the group on Saturday, I see why he does it. Keep up this wonderful thing you do.

Sincerely,

Donna Sarich
