I don't even
really know how to begin, but I
am an Ohio Army National Guard
Infantryman and am currently in
Iraq. I have been away from home
for 10 months. We are doing
great, great things over here.
Progress is definitely being
made. I am more proud to be an
American than I have ever been.
At 20 years old, it's still hard
at times to think about what
could happen and leaving my
parents without a son, my dad
without help on the farm.
However, what you do truly does
set my mind at ease because i
know there are still people back
in the U.S. that appreciate us,
and give families the amount of
respect they deserve when
loved-ones die for their country.
I really don't know how I can
thank you enough. I guess i just
wanted to say that no matter what
any protestor or non-patriot will
say or do... there are still
plenty of self-giving patriotic
Americans that know the true
meaning and reason behind the
values on which the United States
of America were founded.
Thank you for what you do. People
like you are why we are proud to
carry on in this place.

On behalf of my staff, other area
law enforcement agencies, and
myself I would like to sincerely
thank the Patriot Guard
contingent who braved the rain
and cool weather to complete a
mission to Clermont County, Ohio
to honor Marine LCpl Bill
Spencer. The presence of the PGR
contributed significantly to the
honor that was bestowed upon this
fallen warrior and his family.
Please convey our sincere
appreciation to all PGR members
who planned, coordinated and
participated in this important
